Directions
By Water:
- Salt Ponds Marina Resort is located just off the Chesapeake Bay – no bridges or locks.
- The entrance channel is found at 37.0623 N, 076.2795 W.
- On the chart, look 3.4 miles northwest (342M degrees) of Thimble Shoals Light.
- UPDATE: January 2020, Inlet has been completely rebuilt with new Jetties! Dredged to 7ft at low tide (zero tide).
- UPDATE: January 2024, Inlet has developed a speed bump between R-6 and G-5 of 6ft at low tide (zero tide).
By Land:
- Interstate-64 to exit #268 N Mallory Street.
- Left off of the exit, heading Northeast.
- Go 3 miles and turn right on Pembroke Avenue.
- Go 2 blocks and turn left on First Street.
- Go 1 mile and turn left on Ivory Gull Crescent (this is the Marina entrance).
